NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Subsection 53A-1-402(3) authorizes the Utah State Board of Education to administer and distribute funds made available through programs of the federal government.

No written comments have been received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule continues to provide eligibility criteria which is necessary for new sponsors to recruit participants for child care centers and day care homes in unserved areas. The Utah State Office of Education administers the federal Child Nutrition Program in Utah. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
