NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION
Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:
Section 9-6-205 charges the board to set policy for the institute and for the division. This includes purchases for, donations, to and loans from, the state Fine Art Collection.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
No comments have been received.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
This rule is critical in that it outlines the procedures required to purchase new works of art, receive donated art, and the process in which the arts council loans art work from the state collection to other agencies. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
