NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION
Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:
Sections 62A-4a-102 and 62A-4a-106 authorize the Division of Child and Family Services to provide programs and services that support the strengthening of family values, including services which preserve and enhance family life and relationships; protect children, youth, and families; and advocate and defend family values established by public policy and advocacy and education.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
Continuation of this rule is necessary in order for the Division of Child and Family Services to establish standards for conducting adoptive home studies, recruitment of adoptive homes, and approval of adoptive homes.
