NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION
Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:
This rule is authorized by Section 53-2a-1102 which requires the Division of Emergency Management, with the approval of the Search and Rescue Advisory Board, to make rules for the administration of the Search and Rescue Financial Assistance Program.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
There have been no written comments received during and since the last five-year review of this rule.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
The continuation of this rule is necessary because the rule sets forth the procedures for obtaining reimbursement from the Search and Rescue Financial Assistance Program for costs and expenses related to search and rescue activities in accordance with Title 53, Chapter 2, Part 11.
