Section 62A-1-111 authorizes the Department to adopt rules necessary for the provision of social services.

There were no comments received during and since the last five-year review of this rule.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

The rule clarifies that the Department of Human Services will follow established public health guidelines and procedures to protect all staff, clients, and the community. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
