Section 35A-4-208 defines wages and what is counted in determining eligibility for unemployment benefits. This rule reproduces some of that statute to.

This rule expands on the definitions found in the statute without changing those terms. The rule is necessary to assist Department employees and the public in knowing what wages are used for determining unemployment benefits and contributions. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
