NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION
Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:
Subsection 9-6-603(1)(h) establishes a program by 01/01/2009, by rule, creating a certified local museum designation, including any provisions necessary to ensure public confidence in charitable solicitation undertaken by a certified local museum.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
No written comments concerning this rule has been received since the last five-year review.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
Continuation of this rule is necessary as it outlines requirements museums must meet in order to be considered eligible for application as a certified local museum.
