NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Section 65A-7-1 authorizes the Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands to specify application procedures and review criteria for the exchange of sovereign lands.

The Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands has not received any comments regarding this rule.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule outlines the criteria for exchange of sovereign lands or other assets, along with application requirements. Further, this rule addresses competitive land exchange proposal rights, rights to improvements and mineral estates and leases. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
