NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION
Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:
This rule is authorized under Subsection 63A-5-103(1)(e), which directs the Building Board to make rules necessary for the discharge of the duties of the Division of Facilities Construction and Management. This is a new rule to implement S.B. 203 of the 2011 General Session of the Utah Legislature, which amends Section 67-1-8.1.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
No written comments have been received in the last five years.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
The legislative direction for the rule still exists. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
