NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:

Pursuant to Subsection 63A-9-401(5), the Department of Administrative Services, Division of Fleet Operations (DFO) is responsible for ensuring that state-owned vehicles for all departments, universities, and colleges are marked as required by Section 41-1a-407. If "EX" license plates are required, the identification mark is also required, as described herein, for these agencies. Subsection 63A-9-601(1)(c) requires the DFO to enact rules relating to the size and design of the identification mark.

There have been no written comments received during and since the last five-year review of this rule.

The legislative direction for the rule still exists. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
