NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Section 53A-1-401 allows the Utah State Board of Education (Board) to make rules to execute the Board's duties and responsibilities under the Utah Constitution and state law.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No written comment has been received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

Rule R277-485 continues to be necessary because it establishes guidelines for funding school districts with a loss in enrollment. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
