NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

This rule is authorized by Section 62A-3-104. This rule defines which areas of the state are considered to have a significant population of Native American elders for purposes of funding and reporting.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No written comments were received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule clarifies the population density that qualifies as area as having a significant population of Native American elders as required by the Older Americans Act. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
