The Water Resources Investigation Account was established by the Legislature in 1953 and is authorized under Section 73-10-8.

No comments have been received.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
This funding account is necessary for the Board of Water Resources to fulfill its directive to develop the waters of the state of Utah under Section 73-10-4. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
