This rule is promulgated pursuant to authority granted to the Wildlife Board in Sections 23-27-401, 23-14-18, and 23-14-19.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No written comments supporting or opposing Rule R657-60 were received since 2013, when this rule was last reviewed.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

Rule R657-60 defines the procedures and regulations designed to prevent and control the spread of aquatic invasive species within the state of Utah. This rule is necessary for continued success with the control of aquatic invasive species. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
