NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Under Sections 23-15-9 and 23-15-10, the Wildlife Board is authorized and required to provide the standards and procedures for private fish ponds.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No written comments supporting or opposing Rule R657-59 were received since 2013, when this rule was created.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

Rule R657-59 provides the standards and procedures for private fish ponds. This rule is necessary for continued success with the control of aquaculture facilities and products in the state. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
