NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION
Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:
Subsection 79-4-404(1) establishes the enactment of the Zion National Park Support program. Subsection 79-4-404(6)(c) authorizes the Division of Parks and Recreation (Division) to "make rules providing procedures and requirements�" for this legislation and rule.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
No written or oral comments have been received since the last five-year review from any interested persons in support or opposition to this rule.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
The justification for the Zion National Park Support program includes the fact that the statutory requirement has not changed or been modified. Funds are also continuing to be received from persons who buy the Zion license plate. The Division has not received any comments in opposition to the law or rule. Additionally, the Division is not in disagreement with the continuation of the law and rule. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
