NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

The Great Seal of the State of Utah is a symbol of the sovereignty of this state, and its use denotes authenticity of official state government functions and authority. The Great Seal is comprised in form and content as described in Section 67-1a-8.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
No written comments has been received.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
Since its conception, the seal has been employed for specific governmental applications within the state's Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches; and is still needed. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
