NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Title 26, Chapter 21, is the health code that mandates the licensing of health care facilities.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
There have been no written comments from any party regarding this rule.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
This rule establishes the exemption from licensure requirements for non-profit facilities that provide volunteer end-of-life care pursuant to Subsection 26-21-7(6). The Department of Health agrees with the need to continue this rule.
