NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Subsection 63G-2-502(2)(a) states that the State Records Committee (SRC) may make rules, in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, to govern the committee's proceedings.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No comments were received regarding this rule.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

This rule provides a way for the SRC to subpoena a witness that they need to have testify. This increases the likelihood of a fair hearing and outcome for all parties. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
