NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION
Concise explanation of the particular statutory provisions under which the rule is enacted and how these provisions authorize or require the rule:
This rule is authorized by Subsection 53-11-103(5), which allows the commissioner of the Department of Public Safety to make rules as necessary to administer Title 53, Chapter 11, Bail Bond Recovery Act.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
No written comments were received during and since the last five-year review of this rule.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
This rule is authorized under Subsection 53-11-103(5), and is necessary in order to outline application, training, and licensing and renewal requirements for bail bond licenses, identification of licensees, and the adjudicative process with regards to bail bond licenses. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
