Former Member of Administrative Rules Review Committee Dies

Judy Ann Buffmire, who represented District 35 from 1993 through 2004 in the Utah House of Representatives, passed away on May 28, 2011.  Rep. Buffmire served on the Legislature’s Administrative Rules Review Committee from 1999 through 2004.  The Division of Administrative Rules gratefully acknowledges and remembers her years service to the state of Utah and its citizens.

H.B. 402 Passes

H.B. 402, Department of Administrative Services Modifications, passed on 3/9/2010.  H.B. 402 gives the Executive Director of the Department of Administrative Services the flexibility to operate any of the department’s divisions, including the Division of Administrative Rules, as an internal service fund.
