This rule was promulgated under authority of Subsection 4-2-2(1)(e) for the benefit of Utah's egg industry.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
The Board of Egg Marketing Order was dissolved a few years ago and producers informed the Department that they no longer needed the Order.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
This rule will be continued for now but the Division will be filing a repeal to remove the rule. The Division did not have time to get the repeal through the process before the five-year review was due.
