NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

This rule is promulgated by the Drinking Water Board as authorized by Subsection 19-4-104(1)(a)(ii). The Drinking Water Board may make rules governing the design, operation, and maintenance of public water systems.
Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:
There have been no comments received in support or opposition of this rule.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
The continuation of this rule will ensure that various types of water sources found in the state of Utah will receive the type and degree of treatment necessary to provide safe drinking water to the people of the state of Utah.
