This rule is authorized under Section 63G-2-204, which allows agencies to make rules specifying where and to whom requests for access to agency records shall be directed.

There have not been any written comments received regarding this rule.
Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:
This rule should be continued as Section 63G-2-204 grants authority for the rule, and the rule clarifies the process by which an individual may seek access to records maintained by DPS.
