Special Notice: Limitations on Physician Services
The Division of Medicaid and Health Financing (DMHF) will submit changes to the Medicaid State Plan to update and clarify limitations in coverage for physician services. These changes clarify physician licensing, provision of services, physician procedures, and utilization criteria.
DMHF does not expect this amendment (SPA 17-0019-UT, Limitations on Physician Services) to result in a fiscal impact to the agency.
This amendment is pending approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the proposed effective date is July 1, 2017.
