NOTICE OF REVIEW AND STATEMENT OF CONTINUATION

Under Title 26, Chapter 8a, it is required that the department set rates and charges for licensed ambulance providers.

Summary of written comments received during and since the last five-year review of the rule from interested persons supporting or opposing the rule:

No written comments were received.

Reasoned justification for continuation of the rule, including reasons why the agency disagrees with comments in opposition to the rule, if any:

The Utah Code Annotated still requires Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to manage and distribute fines and forfeiture funds as allocated. Therefore, this rule should be continued.
