H.B. 37, Rules Reauthorization, Passes

The Senate passed 1st Substitute House Bill 37, Reauthorization of Administrative Rules, on March 11, 2015.  The bill passed by more than two-thirds in both the House and Senate so, pending action by the Governor, H.B. 37 will take effect on May 1, 2015. H.B. 37 reauthorizes all administrative rules. This process is governed by Section 63G-3-502. It also amends

Legislators Appointed to Serve on Administrative Rules Review Committee

Utah’s House of Representatives has announced two new appointments to the Legislature’s Administrative Rules Review Committee.  These new appointments fill positions vacated by Rep. Rebecca D. Lockhart and Rep. Richard A. Greenwood. Representative LaVar Christensen (R, District 32) served in the House from 2003 through 2006, and since 2011.  More information about Rep. ARRC Schedules First Meetings of the 2013 Interim

The Utah Legislature’s Administrative Rules Review Committee (ARRC) has scheduled its first meetings of the 2013 Interim.  Notices of meetings for Tuesday, July 23, and Monday, July 29 have been posted on the ARRC’s page (http://le.utah.gov/asp/interim/Commit.asp?Year=2013&Com=SPEADM).  As of July 11, agendas for these meetings have not been posted.

Legislators Appointed to Serve on the Administrative Rules Review Committee

Utah’s House of Representatives and Senate have announced new appointments to the Legislature’s Administrative Rules Review Committee. Representative Richard A. Greenwood (R, District 12) has been appointed to take the seat vacated by Rep. Merlynn Newbold.  Rep. Greenwood has served in the House since 2007.  More information about Rep.
