LexisNexis has issued the 2011 print edition of the Utah Administrative Code Annotated (UACA).  This 10-volume set contains the complete text of Utah’s 1,969 administrative rules in effect on January 1, 2011.  LexisNexis’ annotations to the rule text include decision notes from pertinent Utah appellate court cases as well as federal cases; historical notes; and pertinent information from Shepherd’s citation service.  The 10th volume includes an index of changes (effective changes from the preceding year), tables of authority (rule to statute, statute to rule), and a subject index.

Since 2003, the Division of Administrative Rules (Division) has not contracted for the production of a paper edition for any of its publications, including the UACA.   The Division gratefully acknowledges the efforts of LexisNexis in continuing to produce a print copy of the UACA.

To the best of our knowledge, this LexisNexis edition is the only print edition of the entire Utah Administrative Code that is currently available.  State agencies and political subdivisions may purchase the UACA under the provisions of statewide contract PD934, “Purchase of Utah Administrative Code Books” (go to http://generalservices.utah.gov/statewidecontracts/contractsearch.aspx and search for “pd934”).

Questions about purchasing the UACA may be addressed to LexisNexis’ customer service at 800-833-9844, or by visiting LexisNexis’ Legal Store at http://www.lexisnexis.com/store/us .  Refer to ISBN 978-1-4224-8602-3.  Single volumes are also available.

The Division posts an electronic (HTML and RTF) copy of the Utah Administrative Code on its website at http://www.rules.utah.gov/publicat/code.htm that is updated monthly.  The Division’s edition does not include the LexisNexis annotations.
