S.B. 31 Signed by Governor
S.B. 31 (2010), Administrative Rules Reauthorization, was signed into law on 03/23/2010. S.B. 31 goes into effect on 05/01/2010. On that date, all administrative rules in effect on 02/28/2010 are reauthorized except for Rule R495-888, Department of Human Services Related Parties Conflict Investigation Procedure. S.B. 31 Passes
First Substitute S.B. 31, Administrative Rules Reauthorization, passed on 3/11/2010. S.B. 31 reauthorizes all administrative rules in effect on 2/28/2010, except Rule R495-888, Department of Human Services Related Parties Conflict Investigation Procedure,which expires on 5/1/2010. S.B. 31 Substituted in the Senate Rules Committee
On 02/11/2010, the Senate Rules Committee substituted S.B. 31, Administrative Rules Reauthorization. The substitute bill adds an effective date section to the bill. Section 2 provides, “If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this bill takes effect May 1, 2010.” This language is necessary because Section 63G-3-502 provides that “every agency rule that is in

S.B. 31 Administrative Rules Reauthorization
S.B. 31, entitled “Administrative Rules Reauthorization”, has been introduced, and is currently assigned to the Senate Rules Committee.
