The Utah Administrative Code, the body of all effective rules as compiled and organized by the Division of Administrative Rules, is current through February 1, 2010.  The Division posted this update on its website on February 24, 2010.

The administrative code is “an authorized compilation of the administrative law of Utah”. (Section 63G-3-701)  The Division maintains “the official compilation of the code and is the state-designated repository for administrative rules.” (Section 63G-3-702)  The Division encourages agencies with administrative rules published in the administrative code to link to the specific Title that contains the rules of the agency.

The content of Utah Administrative Code changes throughout the year.  Before a substantive change may be made to any of the rules that comprise the administrative code, it must be published in the Utah State Bulletin and the agency promulgating the rule must accept public comment for a minimum of 30 days.  This process is intended to permit state agencies to respond to circumstances that may arise at any time.

The Utah Administrative Code is available online at http://www.rules.utah.gov/publicat/code.htm.  This page contains links to each of the 166 Titles that comprise the Utah Administrative Code.
