The Administrative Rules Review Committee (ARRC) met at noon on 03/02/2011 to discuss rules from the Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Environmental Response and Remediation. Mark Madsen moved that Section R311-201-11 and Section R311-207-9 be added as exceptions to H.B. 228, Administrative Rules Reauthorization.
The chairs stated their intention to hold H.B. 228 in the Senate until they receive communication from the Department of Environmental Quality with the “hopeful intention” that the agency responds to the concerns of the committee. Should the department respond, the bill would proceed to reauthorize all rules.
